It just seems to me like they're trying too hard to be campy.  If these are the best lines in the movie, I'm guessing the rest of it is going to be fairly lackluster.

SpaceX successfully landed a Falcon 9 rocket on a barge today.  Frickin' awesome work.  I know I waxed philosophical when they managed the first successful landing on land a couple months back, but this is truly revolutionary stuff.  Reusable rockets will drastically reduce the cost of space operations, possibly by an order of magnitude.

To give it some scale, the barge is 300' x 170' and the rocket is about 230' tall.  Keep in mind this thing is returning from frickin' space.  Hitting the barge has been compared to throwing a pencil over the Empire State Building and hitting a postage stamp.
