	So on Friday I will be taking my physical fitness exam in order to get a step closer to being excepted into the Police Acedemy. If it's not too much trouble for anyone, I would greatly appreciate any and all prayers for me to pass. I thank you already. X

	I didn't take it, althought I prepared for it and could've passed without much trouble. The requirements are pretty easy. There are four tests total, with a minimum ten minute rest between each activity. The performance requirement for the tests varies by age and gender, but for us they're... 19" Vertical Jump 36 Situps 37 Pushups 4:11.8 Half-Mile Run The situps and vertical jump are easy, and I could do both with little training. The half-mile run was a bit harder. I can speed-walk a half mile around my block in 12 minutes, so jogging in 4 minutes wasn't impossible. The pushups were the hardest for me. I suck at doing pushups. It took me two months to break 40 consecutive pushups, and I highly doubt I could get anywhere close to that now. Anyway, I'm told the test is pretty easy and you generally have plenty of time to rest in between. Pat is a former track star, so I'm sure he'll be just fine. You can always retest whatever you fail. -b0b (...nods nods.)

	Actually those are the ones you have to end with. It's: 17" vertical jump 32 sit ups 30 push ups 4:30 1/2 mile shuttle run Again it's the push up that I'm worried about. X

	Sometimes I get on these kicks of doing pushups and situps at night. I usually do 30 push ups to start every day, then after about a week go up to by 1 push up each day until I get to about 38. I would probably struggle most with the situps. I probably have a 24" vertical jump. It shouldn't be hard, I've seen cops that couldn't currently pass that test. I can't see bob passing that test though, no offense. btw, make sure you stretch good so your not stiff the next day.

	The situps and vertical jump wouldn't be a problem. I'd probably struggle with the run, and I'm sure there is no way I'd get the pushups done. I haven't done a single pushup in over two years. -b0b (...almost cared.)

	Well I failed to pass. I got everything but the push ups...I just needed 12 more. So now I'm not sure what to do. I have to get them passed by the 1 of Dec. or wait until next year. X (So sad right now)

	The pushups are pure dag nasty evil. If you push yourself hard enough, you can probably pick up the extra 12 by the end of the year. The name of the game is discipline - force yourself to practice every morning, afternoon, and evening. You can do it! -b0b (...probably couldn't even do ten.)

	Well you have to go down and hit this 3 in high box that makes a sound which was actually higher than I thought. It was just that they make you put your arms shoulder length but when I do that I am pushing more with the sides of my hands so I wasn't making direct force down through my arms. Look at that I can still actually use some engineering knowledge. So anyways I'm going to retake the test and train doubly hard as much as I can. I got you wonderful people prayin for me and a whole bunch of other wonderful people. I thank you for being good friends and I know this sounds sappy and I'll take the rifts but I appreciate you guys and girls more than you know. X (Bows)
