On a whim, I picked up this baby off of ebay for only 20 bucks. It works nicely, it measured the background radiation pretty well.  The tv, my monitors, and the microwave put out slightly more rads, but all well within normal safety levels. This thing is genuine Civil Defense quality... built to last. It goes up to 500 rads per hour, although Ill never be near that kind of radiation. I'm half inclined to go find some nuclear power plant somewhere.

The thing also splits apart and has a 25 foot extender inside so I can remain "safe" in my home and read the meter while the measuring device is outside.

Lol, I can't believe I bought one.

Back to Reading Comprehension for me!

That was quite a steal, Briney.

That would just be awful, who would want to be near Wes after he eats chili.

A nanny?  Were you in France?  A land of fruits and nuts....like Kalifornia!

Please.

I've cleared the room on many occassions.

My dad and brother had to pull over our old (R.I.P) station wagon because they had tears in their eyes from the smell.

Ask my 3 best friends, Jess, Nass and Paige about my gassy tendencies.

Trust me.

I could take any of you in a farting competition.

And out of curiousity, Briney, why did you buy that? do you actually NEED that?

That sounds like a challenge.

Roffle!

Nah, I got it cause I've always wanted one, and I was browsing ebay and it was dirt cheap. I can see how addictive ebay can be!

I bought a couple of games from eBay this week, so I can sympathize with your pain.
