After going an entire week without Interweb access at home, I'm making up for lost time.  I was Torrenting stuff like crazy all weekend, and I'm still not satisfied.

I've been picking up a lot of anime that hasn't seen US release yet, and I think I've got a pretty decent stash set aside for the coming apocalypse next few weeks.

The problem I've run into, though, is that I really can't think of anything else to download.  Are there any movies, TV shows, documentaries, etc. that I absolute must see?  Help me out here, guys!

Check out The Big Bang Theory on CBS. It's the geekiest sitcom ever and I promise you won't be disappointed!

You just moved to a new house; you're allowed to be lazy! =)

From the CBS website:
Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understand how the universe works. But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door. Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, is quite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their socially dysfunctional friends, fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities... including love.

Basically, it's about four geeky guys, with a hot neighbor thrown in for fun...expect plenty of science, tech & philosophy jokes that most average American viewers wouldn't fully understand. Much of the humor involves the dorkiest character interacting with the girl.

Um, Patrick could probably explain it better...

Didn't you tell me at one time that you and Merideth were into LOST.  You should check out the season finale.  I heard it was pretty good

LOST, eh?  We watched the first four episodes of the first season and loved it, but we never got around to watching more of it.

Are they still on the frickin' island?  Honestly, that particular plot can only be drug out so long.

Well they added another island for a while.  Micheal even showed up again for a while.  The show is still good though.  Instead of flash backs like in the first 3 seaons, they started doing frash forwards.

I've already got a lot of those, but I'm going to snag Enron - The Smartest Guys in the Room.  I've been studying the financial markets rather closely over the past six months, and I'd love to see what the producers of this documentary think about the Enron scandal.

For such a touchy subject that you almost think...how can anybody make an unbiased doc about the subject...the movie pretty much lets the story tell itself.  Plus, it's not hard to see why it was bad...but a good doc nonetheless.

Just thought I'd mention the Enron documentary was excellent.  I was bored last night at 2:00am so I started flipping through it to see what hte production values were like, and ended up watching the entire two-hour video.  It was really, really good.

I highly recommend watching it if you've got any interest in economics, business, or just a good old-fashioned corporate scandal!

I bought and downloaded the new Penny Arcade game last night, and I also highly recommend dropping $20 on it!  It's most excellent!

I only had a chance to play for 25-30 minutes, but so far it seems like an excellent title.  The dialog is top-notch and the characters, plot, and style are Penny Arcade personified!  I'll post some of my own screenshots and a more thorough review in a couple days!

Stop All The Downloadin'

So, what have you guys been downloading lately?

I just finished downloading about 75GB of anime, 40GB of music, and a 10GB JPEG of Wes's mom.  Once I finish seeding back up to a 1.5 ratio, I need a bunch of new torrents to add to Azureus.  Any ideas?

I think I'll add the entire Star Trek collection next.  I figure TNG, DS9 and Voyager will be about 75GB each, while the original series and Enterprise will probably be a bit smaller.
