Thanksgiving LAN! - Friday, November 28th at 7:00pm!

How does everybody feel about a Thanksgiving LAN?  I'm open on either Friday, November 28th or Saturday, November 29th.  Let me know what you guys think!

For some reason, I've got a hankerin' for a cooperative game, like Dungeon Siege 2 or something.  Anybody else up for some dungeon crawling?

(...or not.)

Update:  The LAN will be Friday, November 28th at 7:00pm!  My house is located at 112 North Lincoln Avenue in Three Rivers.

I'll have network cables dropped and power supplies ready.  Mere's mom will be bringing leftover Thanksgiving goodies, so we'll have plenty of food too!

If you have trouble finding the house, call me!  1 (269) 273-3948 or 1 (269) 816-0865!

It's poll time!  Pick one, or both, I don't care.

I agree, co-op would be nice, but Dungeon Siege 2 is too simple for us, and it would be lame to play as level 1's.. we need something else.

Some suggestions:

Shooters - Serious Sam, Doom 3 (Last man standing mod), Swat4 or Rainbow Six type game.

RPG -  Probably won't happen but Baldur's gate 2 has a co-op mode and is still the best game ever made.

RTS - Starcraft

I'm not familiar with any newer games, so that's all I could come up with.

You would say starcraft haha

Whats the last man standing mod?

and Civ 4 is epic in the empire building, utterly crushing your enemies sorta way.

I say Hell No to Doom 3 (can't display high resolutions for crap) and StarCraft (totally burned out on that one).

I haven't played SWAT 4 since it came out, but I was always a big fan of the series.  I seem to remember the co-op being pretty good, though.

I love Civ 4, and Meredith is a big Civ fan, too.  I definitely think Civ IV should make it on our list.  Does someone have a cracked copy?  I've got Steam copies for Mere and I, but I'm not sure if that will work with "other" copies.

We can always add Barbie's Island Adventure to the list for Stewie.

If board games are also on the table, I'd like to suggest Risk and Settlers of Catan.

I've always wanted to try Settlers of Catan.  I've heard great things about it.  I think Risk would take too freakin' long to play at a LAN.

Left 4 Dead is absolutely incredible.  Will everyone have a copy by Thanksgiving, though?

I'm buying the PC version, so I'm not sure I want to buy another copy for the 360.

(...could be persuaded, though.)
