I've caught a flu bug but I'm getting over it right now.  I was feeling good enough to come to work today but took the day off yesterday.  I would hate to spread the sickness around but would love to go to the LAN.  Start a new poll thread and vote if you want me there. Smiley

You should come to the LAN, but only if you vote for me!  (I'm starting to sound like an Illinois politician!)

Benefits of coming to my house:

  • No stairs!
  • Park 15 feet away instead of 4,316 feet away!
  • Furniture!
  • b0b doesn't have to move his computer!
  • Free pop & junk food from Christmas!

Sorry guys, I know everyone uses the "My grandpa was in the hospital" excuse but his condition got worse on new years eve.  I was able to see him and it was very eye opening to witness his condition.  Originally his procedure was a quadruple bypass which was a success. Post operation he developed a severe ulcer that went undetected with a combination of blood thinning medicine.  His life was saved on new years eve. 

The word right now is that he is doing better so I hope everything is on the up and up.

I'm glad to hear his condition is improving.  I'll be sure to keep him in my prayers.

Now it is Pat's turn to come up with an equally touching excuse for skipping out on the LAN.  That's a hard act to follow!
