Apologies for the late response.  We had an out-of-band session on Tuesday, March 29th, to make up for the lack of D&D over the next two weeks.  I'll be out of town the week of April 11th, so our next play session will occur on Tuesday, April 19th.  Hope to see you all there!

The party departed the Swinging Sword and headed off in search of the old man that was scaring travellers with threats of an unknown plague.  It didn't take long for the party to come across a sign near an old footworn path that bore the words...

Come no closer lest you catch the disfiguring plague that afflicts me!  -The Lord of Lance Rock

The party threw caution to the wind, heading back into the woods and finding a massive rock formation that concealed a natural cave system.  Our intrepid explorers immediately came across a corpse that reanimated before their very eyes, a mere prelude to a multitude of zombies and skeletons that awaited them inside.  Oni, Hytton, Temmie, Bosun, and Exees all fought bravely through several rooms full of traps and undead monstrosities, eventually catching sight of the Lord of Lance Rock himself (who promptly ran away).

The party earned a total of 700 XP (140 XP each).  Characters present for all 5 sessions have earned a total of 654 XP each.

Emma hit level 2!

Temmie recovered a hooded bear-skin cloak from one zombie and Hytton kept a Jester's cap worn by a second zombie.  The party also discovered 7 PP, 20 GP, 10 EP, 56 SP, and 147 CP (roughly 95GP in total).

I had a blast!  Points to the DM for incorporating funny hats into the story.  Keep 'em coming!

Also, don't forget the bear puns for this week!

"What a grizzly way to go~!"

Next time let's kill us a necromancer!!!

XOXO Mere

It worked for Team Fortress 2!  Now I just have to figure out how to monetize them!
