Well, if you restrict yourself to 100 pages a day, you should be able to savor it for about six years.

Once I finish reading the series I'm on right now, I'll probably reread the Wheel of Time (for the 6th time).  It's been years since I've read it and I really need a refresher course I think.

Here's the first pic of the new Captain America outfit.  Not too shabby, in my opinion.

Quote:
Captain America: The First Avenger' stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Hugo Weaving as Johann Schmidt / The Red Skull, Hayley Atwell as love interest Peggy Carter, Samuel Jackson reprising his 'Iron Man' role as Nick Fury, with Stanley Tucci, Tommy Lee Jones, Dominic Cooper, Sebastian Stan and Neal McDonough. In theaters July 22, 2011.

I'm just full of movie screens lately.  Stewie must be sleeping on the job!

Anyway, several shots from the film Panzer 88 have been released via FaceBook (blech!), and they look amazing.  This is definitely on my must-watch list.  Here's a link:

...and here are a couple teasers:

If I need to read an explanation, the movie was doing it wrong.

Here's a behind-the-scenes video of the filming for The Hobbit.  I'd love to say I'm totally psyched, but I'm at work and can't watch the video.

Van Helsing is often regarded as the "steampunkiest" of relatively modern big budget films.  Wild Wild West is also part of the genre.

It looks like the Ribbon interface is coming to Explorer in Windows 8.  Joy.

If it's anything like the Office Ribbon, I imagine we will have to relearn the majority of the keyboard shortcuts for Explorer.  Yay!

Yes, lets make the bar enormous and filled with lots of buttons we wont use during the majority of our windows experience...

Brilliant!

Yeah, the loss in screen real estate is the real killer.  It seems like every time monitors get larger and resolutions get higher, Microsoft comes up with a way to waste that space with some big, ugly bar.

Hey Stewie!  I've heard that Gillian Anderson alluded to a third X-Files movie.  You got any inside info for us?

Well back in the day.  Everyone's contract called for 3 optional movies as Chris Carter deemed.

One was Fight the Future which I enjoyed and the DVD/home release was a lot better than the theatrical release.

Two was I Want To Believe which was disappointing to everyone who wanted it to follow the alien plotline.  I think it's unappreciated but by no means a great movie.  If you look at it like a longer episode, it holds up pretty well.

As for the 3rd one.  I'll wait to hear from Chris Carter before I get excited.  This will probably be the last hurah though.  I don't really know what to expect considering the last 3 seasons were a wash for me and with the last movie focusing on Mulder and Scully again...it's all up in the air.
