A couple times a year, somebody accidentally sends an e-mail to a giant distribution group at the VA, inadvertently kicking off an e-mail storm.  Hundreds of people respond via "reply to all" asking to be removed from the distribution list, thus exponentially exacerbating the problem.  It usually keeps going until a systems administrator kills the distribution list for a day or two.

It looks like Cisco just had the mother of all e-mail storms.  It consumed 375GB of bandwidth and cost $600,000 in lost productivity.  It looks like we need to step up our game!

That is awesome!

I always thought about that at my work.  I really, REALLY wish to send an email out to everyone saying "please, never include me in company wide emails" or "don't respond in a reply to all way".  But I'd feel like a hypocrite.

There are plenty of excellent 720p torrents out there.  I have all four seasons and both Peacekeeper Wars movies in 720p.  It requires a bit of disk space, though.  Each season weighs in at nearly 50GB each, so roughly 210GB for all four seasons and both movies.

Check out this nifty high-res image.  It shows the crowd gathering for a sporting event and you can see thousands of people in the frame.  Zoom in and you can clearly make out the facial details on everyone in the picture.
